How do I buy CSPR?

Casper Wallet has integrated with Uphold to make it easy to buy CSPR at any time with a credit or debit card. To buy CSPR tokens, click the Buy button in Casper Wallet then continue through the on screen instructions. Keep in mind that you will be required to complete some KYC validation to purchase CSPR with fiat currency.

I have multiple accounts on my Casper Wallet but when I reset my wallet, only one account is recovered. Where are the rest of my accounts?

For accounts created directly on your Casper Wallet, the remaining accounts cannot be automatically recovered since Casper Wallet cannot guess how many other accounts you have. To recover the remaining accounts, simply choose to create new accounts. The new accounts will inherit exactly the same keys and balances, and in the exact order that you created them in the past.

Do I need cryptocurrency to use Casper Wallet?

No. Although keeping, sending, receiving and spending your CSPR cryptocurrency is probably the main use case of Casper Wallet, you can also just create a fresh account and use it for free operations such as signing messages or making use of off-chain aspects of applications like logging into a system or proving your identity or ownership, or decrypting messages signed for your viewing. Installing Casper Wallet and creating new accounts on it are free for everyone.

How do I get CSPR into Casper Wallet?

If you already have CSPR in another wallet you have two options. You can import the account holding CSPR into Casper Wallet. Or you can transfer the CSPR to your new wallet address for a small network transaction fee.
If you don't have any CSPR yet you can buy some by clicking the Buy button in Casper Wallet at any time.

How do I send CSPR?

Where is my account’s public address?

You can view your currently active account’s public key on the home screen of Casper Wallet, just below your account’s name. Please use the copy icon next to it to copy your account’s full public address to the clipboard.

How do I rename an account in Casper Wallet?

Click on the kebab button next to your account name on the Caspert Wallet home screen. Then click Rename.

How do I connect to an app?

Is there a way to know how much a transaction will cost before signing?

Yes. On the “Signature Request“ screen, you can see the cost of the transaction in the “Transaction fee“ field; and if you go to the “Transfer Data” section at the lower part of the same screen, you can see the token amount to be sent.

Can I view NFTs in Casper Wallet?

Yes you can. Click on the tab labeled NFTs on the home screen to view any NFTs owned by the selected account.

Does Casper Wallet support sending and receiving ERC-20 standard tokens on the Casper network?

ERC-20 tokens on the Casper network are fully supported by Casper Wallet. You can view the tokens owned by your account, send and receive them as you please. Note that these tokens must live on the Casper network only. Do not send tokens from other networks to your Casper Wallet account. If you're not sure, ask our support team in the official Casper Wallet Telegram channel first (link in footer.)

How do I know if an app is safe before connecting?

Before connecting to an app, do some research to ensure its credibility. Check for reviews, social media presence, and community feedback. Additionally, verify the app's website has a secure connection (https) and look for any official audits or endorsements.

I’ve lost my secret recovery phrase. Can I restore my wallet?

Unfortunately, if you lose your secret recovery phrase, there's no way to restore your wallet. It's crucial to securely store your recovery phrase in a safe place, as it's the only way to access your funds and accounts.
This is the most important thing to remember as a self custody wallet user.

I forgot my Casper Wallet password. Can I reset it?

Yes, you can reset your password by clicking the "Reset wallet" button on the login screen. This will reset your Casper Wallet and remove all associated accounts. You'll need your secret recovery phrase to restore your accounts afterwards.
